Maybe some of you have known about this for a long time, maybe some of you are seeing this for the first time. Tonight while bored I was on StumbleUpon and discovered Phillip Toledano's, "Days with My Father" a piece that has touched me dearly. It is not only a heart-rending story about a son and a father, but it includes some of the most delicate and precious photographs I've ever seen...
Oh wow! I have never seen it before and thought I would just take a quick look....ended up reading the whole thing! Amazing how powerful and emotional it is with the beautiful expressive photographs to go with it! Such a lovely story, tribute and work of art! Thanks for sharing!
The story and photos are so precious. My mother has Alzheimer's. I hope I can convince her to let me take pictures of her. (she does not like me to take pictures of her). The story and photos brought tears to my eyes. The author and his wife were blessed to have three years with his father.
Reading this has been a very emotional experience for me. So many of his experiences are exactly what I am going through with my dad right now. I had never even thought of writing down some of the things my dad has told me. Thank you for sharing this link with us, it is very beautiful.
