I bought this a couple of week's ago and it's amazing - I read it from cover to cover. In fact I thought about incorporating it into a photo to give it some publicity. It certainly shows the inequalities of birth but also that a rich life isn't just about money.

@judithg ..yeah, and that all these children, no matter what's going on in their lives, are proud and have so much to live for.

I've seen this a few times recently. I've thought of doing something as well.

great thread Zipp, looks like a great book - liked the ones from Nepal - I could identify with those (haaving seen them first hand) - such basic conditions but the kids there are in the main the happiest kids i've come across in my travels; which in itself tells its own story!

Thanks for sharing. Quite thought provoking stuff there. I found number 19 quite scary, actually!

I Wrote a review of it in the Dutch daily newspaper I work for. It's a very impressive book and made me wonder which of these children actually can be a child.

This is amazing-I love it-very interesting-I worked in a remote aboriginal community and when I was there a little newborn came home from hospital-i would have love to photograph the room they lived in but didn't want to intrude.
