I recently interviewed Rich Schies (also known as @digitalrn), a fellow photographer, on my Nectarfish blog and I wanted to share it with you all. Rick is not only a fantastic photographer, but a committed lover of nature and 365. Thanks so much for being such a good sport and answering all my questions Rick!
Very cool interview & we all know that Rick is an amazing photographer who can capture the essence of the scene. However, I'm not sure which compliments which ... do his captions (read: deep thoughts) compliment his photos OR do his photos compliment his captions. Sometimes it's Rick's written words that move me and really make me say "yeah, that's dead on." But of course, the photographic image is what leads you to the text. Simply an all around inspiration that I'm fortunate to have gotten to know through this 365 project. Great interview. Thanks for the link!
Great interview!! Thanks so much for sharing. I loved it when they did it as part of the 365 blog so it was fun to read a new one. Maybe you should take up bringing back the weekly/biweekly (heck even monthly) Interview!!
I like seeing the interviews too. What about if Rick picks the next person and interviews them, then they can pick someone, etc. We would definately get a mix of people. They could copy/paste the interview into a discussion. Just a thought. :-)
@nectarfizz Excellent interview! Thanks so much for sharing the link. Rick was one of my first followers and I couldn't believe that someone of his talent and popularity would choose to follow me! But he is not only a great photographer, he is also a great person! And yes, I think Rhonda is on to something- with Rick it is both the picture and the commentary. They go together like hand and glove.
great interview - I have followed rick for a while now and always look forward to seeing his photos and he is very generous in his comments to other people too
That is wonderful! Great interview! Rick has been a wonderful follower and serves as a great inspiration to me. He is one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting on this site.
