101 Portrait Photography Tips

I found this article on Jim Harmer's "Improve Photography" website. As someone who is almost afraid of people portraits (for lack of skill/ experience), I found these tips very informative. Some of the tips I can use the next time I photograph people. Some of the tips I will have to work at to master.

I read it all. There are a lot of good suggestions and things to consider. I like the writing, too.

Most of those are good, though I do have argument with a few.

#99 is evil and hilarious and a great suggestion.

@neda You're right, #99 is deliciously wrong. So my wicked mind began wondering about using it with the elderly, surly teenagers... everybody. If they're old enough to read...? Yes, I'm a cracked egg.
