Hi Guys, I am looking at updating my laptop and seem to use it quite alot for processing pictures these days with my new found passion.
I have been told I need a stand alone graphics card? Just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction of a good mid-priced laptop suited to photo editing.
I had REALLY good luck with my Compaq Q. I absolutely hate my Toshiba. (which I am using now and at less than a year old the keyboard has gone haywire!) Plus multiple other problems
i like my partners hp, but hate their media software, which seems impossible to get rid of. dad's toshiba is nice. i was advised to get acer, but got asus in the end. it's ok but within the first 2 months needed a new daughterboard and other bits and had to be sent back for repair to main HQ
@aprilgeorge@kmrtn6 thanks guys, stay away from asus then hey! lol I have an acer now which has been amazingly reliable and they are great value so would have no probs having another one, just the graphics issue I'm unsure on
