I promise this isn't for vanity, I'm just unsure where I stand and what I need to improve on. Harsh critique is far more helpful than sympathy for an amateur, please could you have a flick through and tell me what you think.

Hey Simon, I have just looked through a lot of your photos and you are doing well. The one thing that I would suggest to make a difference between good shots and great shots is the rule of thirds...
Perfect example is this shot...
good shot, the sillouhette is brilliant and your focus spot on but if you were to crop it in and lift the dark horizon to the bottom third I think it would be great...
Just my opinion but maybe try it

@simonfern The rules of third is an amazing rule, so simple but it can make a big difference, you are doing really well and I am sure that you will continue to improve... I look forward to watching your progress
