Hi I am a total newbie. I am also experimenting with photoshop etc. Can I edit an old photo, but then use it as todays pic, as I have created it today and it is part of my learning and experimenting?? thnx

If you want to use your project as a photo journal and you spent time learning how to edit, then that fits. If you want to use it as filler and you're happy with that, then it fits too... then go for it.
It's totes cool - I do it all the time! xD Although for the past few weeks I've actually been pretty good... being on break from uni might have a lot to do with it...
If you are interested in editing, you may be interested in the WWYD challenges. The previous winner posts one of their photos and you edit it how you want. They then pick five finalists and everyone votes. There are some fantastic edits in these.
You can do whatever you want. It won't affect your credit score, or anything else for that matter. It all depends on how you commit to the challenge that Ross set forth when developing this idea.
