So I am not new at 365project .. and I don't post pictures everyday but I don't understand why at the beginning of my project my pictures had around 40 views but after a little while my pictures didn't have more that 15 views. I really appreciate all the followers that see my pictures and write comments but I was wondering what I can do to get more people to see my pictures.
Also I was reading a theme in the hot topis and there was a new person who didnt want to have random followers and I saw the pictures in her/his project (3 of them) .. and they already have >100 views... It is depressing... how people do it??

Follow more people yourself, comment on their things, get involved in discussions, take photos of things that aren't a bus.

Seriously though, there's a natural tendency for these things to decline with time, so don't go thinking it's only happening to you - most other people, if they're paying attention to it, will be wondering the same as you about why their own views are declining. The only ones that aren't at the ones going out of their way to interact with others.

its not about how many people see your pictures.. its about a photo a day in your life.. if people want to comment on it .. so be it,, if they dont oh well..

if you want a 100 veiws.. then veiw 100 photos you may get someone looking back at you..

@catalfonso Firstly, as the Doctor said views decline with time. I also noticed that you are not consistent with posting your photos. I'll admit that I don't feel as close to people I follow who post sporadically (unless their photos are phenomenal). As the year has worn on, I view/comment most on photos of those people I have connected with on some level. Often it's that they comment on my photos as well.

As someone who doesn't aspire to having a ton of followers/ views, and can't keep up with following too many people at once... @nikkers has a great point. You'll be most happy with your project if it's for you and not about popularity.

@eyebrows So true so true. I interact as much as I can and have many followers and following many and still I have seen a decline in views. I think it is mostly we are not newbies anymore. Still the best way to get action is interaction.

I dont really care about popularity, it is mostly I would like to get more feedback.. this is my 365 project (and one of the rules for me is that I try not to post pictures from other days to fill up) and I like it, but also I am trying to learn to take pictures and what works and what doesn't. @eyebrows I dont really get the thing about the bus... as I said before I am trying to work different styles, if you are talking about one of my pictures with the red bus.. it is not really about the bus, it is the fact that I am trying to learn how to do panning. But I guess you are right about things declining with time. @herussell yes I am not that consistent, but I find it difficult to get inspired everyday (mostly bc I worked from 8Am to ~7Pm), and as I said before I dont really want to use pictures from other days just to fill the calendar (If I feel I have 2 really good pictures in one day i do it, but I try no to) , I really want each picture of the day to represent what really happen to me that day. Thanks for all the comments

Sometimes I think there really isn't any rhyme or reason to the how views come in. Yesterday I had 80+ views, today I have a little more than 20. No idea why.

I had 300 views for my first picture, then 65, 20, 29 for 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. I agree it's better to focus on producing quality images while learning everyday.
