facebook and twitter are overloaded....anyone here from toronto, ottawa or montreal felt the earthquake?

Someone in my area of PA said their office building was swaying. Nothing at my job.

some people in parts of nj felt it too.....
i didn't by me though, but the areas that felt it aren't far from me

From the Detroit area and they are all talking about it here. Some co-workers felt it but I didn't.

It's been confirmed to have been a 5.5 along the border of Ontario and Quebec.

They've since downgraded it to a 5.0. Ashley, thankfully, I don't think there was any injuries anywhere.

I'm in Hamilton. Apparently, everybody felt it but me. haha

It wasn't anything too major though. Just enough to shake book on the shelves and water in aquariums.

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i felt it. all 5 kiddos are napping and i was sitting on the floor, folding clothes and i felt it.

*SOBS*

i live in Hamilton, and have friends going all the way up to past North Bay, and everyone felt the earthquake EXCEPT ME!!! I feel so left out :(

My mother in law told me that people only 10 minutes away felt it but as far as I know no one in our town felt it. Weird!

This is really sad. Hopefully things will be okay. @ xEmx you shouldn't feel left out, instead be happy that everything's ok.

I was in Burlington talking on the phone with a guy in Toronto when it happened (both felt it).
Pretty crazy. According to this article, it was the largest to hit the Ottawa-region [where it started] in 20 years.

Yea I felt it in Burlington too...My coworker actually thought I was trying to prank him which I thought was a bit hilarious
