Today I uploaded my shot nr. 100 and I feel like I need to write a few lines here, mainly to thank the bunch of great photographers following me!
In these 3 months or so I got a lot of help and advices which motivated me alot and helped me to improve my skills.
I got into photography around April and it took me awhile to subscribe to this project: mainly because I thought one shot per day would be too much for me but also because I felt like I wouldn't have been happy myself to look back at my pictures...
Now I'm totally enjoying this and also got some unexpected results: I got into the "new faces" page once (even if it was only for half a day or so), and got in the top 5 "Breaking the Rules Challenge" back in December (even if I did not win the challenge, I've almost fainted when I read about this sitting in the train:) )
I tried lots of new things and I took part to http://365project.org/discuss/general/9407/a-challenge-for-december where I "met" so many lovely people.
I noticed lots of people started their project recently and hope this message can motivate them!
I know you've participated in different themes and ideas Davide and good for you - looks like you've got lots out of it and enjoyed it too! Well done on producing 100 super photographs, here's to the next 265+ !!
I had to go back and see what my 100th, 200th, 300th shots were. Oh the memories. At times it is difficult not to be critical of your own shots. But looking back, it's really cool seeing the different things I've captured. It truly can be a diary of things you saw.
@jeancarl very true! I definitely am not very good at judging my shots: sometimes I upload pics that get a lot of attention and I did not like them very much, sometimes the other way around:)
I have to admit I'm proud I got to 100 though
