When I was registering with 365 I was suppose to choose a display name and a user name...first I thought that it would me simply my first and last name combined... but then suddenly I came up with this "Metatransitions" thing and I thought cool...thats not bad.... It will mean transitions in me ....transitions in my skills and my personality and at the end of the year I will know how I passed from one year to another....
So It would be kind of interesting if u share what u thought while choosing ur display name or use name.
My name is Vik and I'm the daddy! No, there used to be a British wrestler who was a celeb over in the UK back in the eighties. His name was Big Daddy, so it's a pun on that!
As for my username, a badly lit photo many years ago led to someone jokingly calling me "eyebrows" as an insulting reference to their apparent bushyness, and I decided to adopt it for myself. It's been my standard internets name ever since. I've met a great deal of internets people who know me by that name too, so whenever I hear the word in public, or see it written, it always grabs my attention, which is weird, but there you go :)
It's the same name that I use for all internetical dealings...
"Manek" was my grandfather's name - he was from Bombay (now Mumbai) in Southern India, and he moved to the UK to work as a doctor after serving in the British Army medical corps during the war... Sadly, I never met him, as he died before I was born, but I've been using his name as an internet alias for about five years now...
"43509" was the sail-number of my racing dinghy, back when I was doing a lot of competitive sailing... I added it to my internet name some while ago, when I joined a site where somebody had already registered with the name "Manek"...
So, "Manek43509" is now what I use for 365, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Last.fm, Dailybooth, Blogger, etc, etc... :)
I chose sarethephotos which is a play off of my main username sarethefish which came from a long forgotten inside joke with my friends in grade 7. The nickname stuck.

Prior to "The Steve" I used "OG Triple OG" which is a reference to the rather hilarious "Friday" trilogy of movies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday_%28film%29
