I never was a very active member on the boards, but I was posting photos quite regularly. I took a hiatus. I had a decent point and shoot, and had fun using it. Took some nice photos, but was getting frustrated because there were photos I wanted to take that I was unable to take.
So ... I now have a new camera :D Woo hoo!
I feel quite intimidated and until today, I hadn't even taken it off full auto.
But I did take it off auto today and already saw an improvement in a scene that I've captured before with poor results!
