Does anyone have this lens? I am thinking about getting it just curious what you think about it. I have read a bunch of reviews and it looks like it is a great lens for the money.
Wish I could remember who I know that has this lens. They love it. I'm unconvinced myself, but only because it isn't a fast lens - that isn't a huge issue on its own, but it does limit the usage. Insofar as quality goes, I've never heard a bad thing about it.
I believe @sueb shoots with this lens on a Canon 7D, she gets amazing wildlife images at 500mm. Perhaps limited to bright daylight but it would seem a versatile bit of kit. She hasn't post since early December but her profile and album are still there to look through.
