Zoom shots!

Hi, i came across to know that I do zoom's alot.It's because i like it, it shows DOF.But was thinking what do you think and do you have same thing going on?.Or Should i just do what i like or start taking photo's from a lil far.Down are some of my links which shows some zoom food.Tell me what you think & also share your zoom photos.Thanks

I always say just do what you like and edit however you like. It's your vision that you present us with and I like your shots. I think they are fun! I too zoom or shoot wide with the intent to crop.

I zoomed in on this than added the vignette with picnik.

I zoomed on this as well then made it black and white in picnik.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by zoom shots, but here's a picture I took, and I zoomed out the length of the lens while the photo was being taken. I thought it gave a lot more zing to my boring stack of moving boxes.

I generally do not zoom if I can physically go closer to the object & use Macro for a capture!! However if something I have to capture is far off....I prefer zooming, cropping & editing!! :) Your breakfast theme is awesome!!
