On the subject of who edits photos and who doesn't, I thought I would take the topic in this direction. I personally think that a good photo can happen whether it is "sooc" or edited a little or a crap-load. I include both types in my project, because I feel that if you can make a pretty shot prettier by doing some Photoshop magic....then by all means.
So I would like to see some edits that you are proud of.
Here are a couple of mine!
Oh I am going to love this thread! I am already blown away by the creativity!! I think that I should have added some shots other than portrait work! @debsphotos Very fun and bubbly! @grecican I did, didn't I? I love your work!! @beautifulthing I really love the ballerina! Awesome stuff! @asrai You are a pro at editing, that's for sure! I have a hard time believing that that last photo isn't sooc, though. ;)
@jannaellen I love the beach buildings! What are those called, anyway? It is something that I always want to photograph, but don't live anywhere near "cool" enough to have such buildings. @sdpace Well, I could seriously "fav" every shot you just shared. Gorgeous stuff!
Argh. And I'm trying to get away from editing as much ;) But this was a recent one I liked-it was kind of meh before but then editing just made it look a little more pleasing
Awesome edits! @john244 Gorgeous! The tones are great! @smevvy Breathtaking!! I would love to go someplace to take photos like these! @webfoot Is the bluelight shot a person walking? I thought I saw feet. Very cool! @amorton That rose is gorgeous. Love it! @nikkers That pig one has always freaked me out. Which means you did a good job! Haha! @hjbenson Interesting. I have never tried that before!! @laynesgram Nice! Is that last shot a robot?
Both these are actually done with very little editing, but they're not SOOC and they're two of my favourites. One is yesterday's picture, the other is not a project shot but I really like it.
This one because I spent three hours on it. In the original the horse was standing really squatty and the eye was half closed. I used the free transform tool to make the horse stand tall and open her eye. Oh and I added the color in the top right.
this is going to be an amazing thread... can't wait to see what everyone else throws up on here!
And these were not so difficult but I was very happy with them anyway:
tons more but Im sure you are bored by now
The blue light shot is three separate shots stacked together. Flashlight trails. Long exposures.
this one was so simple, but it keeps calling to me to look at it again:
