My husband just bought me one of these

yeeeey!

Think he felt sorry for me playing with the torch on my mobile and a old white shelf! Will be exciting for some macro shots!

it's brilliant, it folds away into a A3 sized carry case. I think it's well worth the money, just for the lamps and mini-tripod alone!

Ahh sorry about the link not working, just copy & paste :) I'm really excited to have a proper play with it. And that's a beautiful ring crickle!

I have one, I stopped using it after a week though. I'm too picky about my lighting and its too restrained for my taste. Goodluck with it!

Thanks, figure for the money the lights alone are worth it, plus, they're cute on little stands! ;-)

They are great fun, but I haven't had much luck with mine. From the looks of it, I had the same model, but both lights burned out on me in just a few days time with only a few minutes running time each. Hoping you have more luck and will make many nice photos with it!

I was looking into one from about the same price but they were all called back because of faulty lights (must be the one you bought @raymond)

So I have this...... LOL

But it works ;-)

@elke - Great ingenuity!

I have never seen one of these little studios (total noob to photography), but now I'm really excited about it and think I'll be getting one soon :D

@elke Haha, I love your set up. That's pretty similar to how things look in my house when I'm trying to set something up. My husband is always giving me funny looks for the stuff I use :D

@floriandra Haha I know... my husband stopped with the "funny looks" a while back... now he just sighs..... :-S
And when someone told him a while back that I deserve a DSLR and he needs to put put some money in my saving-for-DSLR-jar... he gave me a very "funny look" LOL He's not into photography (and the time I spend on it) although he does love a lot of things I create
