That's probably one to send to @Scrivna :) Maybe send him an email.

They are still petitioning to save Picnik:

Power to the people, Google is a big corporation but you never know....
I removed Google crap from my computer and sent them am email telling them why (still working at that, Google is everywhere). Maybe if enough people do that(?)

the simple stuff on picnik is/was available to anyone whether or not they were part of 365. i used picnik but found it easier to use if i did not access it from the 365 link. the fancy stuff on picnik is/was acquired separate from 365 and is not related to ace. i was never aware of anything extra 365 offered with respect to picnik except for the link to the site.

@sarahricho
I asked Ross about this a few weeks ago, when I first heard Picnik was closing. He said that he was looking at alternate editing websites to replace Picnik on ace accounts.

@mej2011 i would be interested to see what comes out of your request to ross. i have ace and do not have any extra picnik benefits because of that.

@sunnygreenwood
The only "benefit" was that you could edit right on 365 instead of going to the picnik website.

@jsw0109 Oh whoops--I had that one bookmarked too. Thanks!

@mej2011 thanks for the note melissa. yes, i agree, but then i couldn't figure out how to save it on my hard drive, only on 365. Since I keep a copy of all my pics on my own computer, that didn't work for me at all.

@sunnygreenwood
It does save right to 365 if you are using picnik via 365. However, you could then right click on your photo once back in 365 and save that way.

@mej2011 i should have known that, thanks!
