Why do food posts seem to get more hits than all the others? Is is that we connect better with everyone, friends and strangers, when food is central to the communication?

Food is one of my favourite things to shoot... although I don't notice my food pics getting more hits than my other photos!

What I DO notice is that my pics of my kitten get MANY more hits than my other photos. xD

Oh, I had no idea. I thought people (maybe it's just some people) hated food shots. I didn't post anything for yesterday bec. all I had was food shots. I'll post one now. Thanks for starting this thread.

I think food photography is seriously an art form when done well.

I love taking pictures of food.. there is so much color and I love color .. my posts for February are all about food

So yesterday while taking a picture I was thinking more about this discussion.. and I think I prefer food just because I can try different things for hours and they wont mind :) ... while people normally get really annoyed
