A small curiosity

Today i asked uncle google a long time doubt of mine:
"Why light sources appear as stars on long exposure shots?"

It is a physics phenomena of the light which is called Fraunhofer diffraction and it is related to the wave lenght of light. Read more there. Just thought some of you might have asked the same question to yourselves at some point and decided to share. :)

Uncle Google doesn't know everything. I keep asking Uncle Google for the next set of winning lottery number and he hasn't came up with squat :-)
