Ross, am trying to upload a couple of old pics as fillers, as moving and wont be able to do much til next week.
I have a photo that I took in 2008, and it will not let me load it as a 2010, only a 2008 pic, even though opened and resaved today. Can you help please? Be appreciated loads!
Long shot from me Freida.... upload in flicker then save the image in large size on your desktop, then reload to 365 ... i think it takes the date out of the file, certainly if you tweek the image it does...
Frieda, if you have photoshop, open a new document exactly the same size of the image you want to upload and drag the image into the new document, then resave - you can also do this by opening the image, Select All (cntrl A), Copy (cntrl C), New, Paste (cntrl V), Flatten, Save - the new document will be exactly the same size as your image.
Brilliant, thanks to you both, a massive help!! Steve H, I had flicker, but long lost the password and account name, lol. Will sign up again soon.
Peter, I will give it a go, I dont know why I didnt think of it, ace!
Nope, doesnt work sadly. The copying has worked great, and got rid of the file data, but it still wont upload - just says "this date cannot be used". Hmmmmm....
I've even done a screenshot of the photo's, then cropped and saved them back as a jpeg, and it still says date cannot be used. WEIRD!
Are you trying to upload for days you've missed or for days next week that you're going to miss....? I'm pretty sure you can not upload for days in advance...
The only time this happens for me is if I upload a pic and there is already a pic in it's place. That's when I get the "cannot be used for this date" message.
Are you sure there isn't a pic already on that date you are trying to upload for?
And if you are trying to upload in advance I don't think you can do that.
Perhaps your'e right and thats it - its just too soon. The 10th I am trying to do it for. Deffo dont have a pic on that date.. Thanks, will try in a few days if I get the chance, lol.
Appreciated big time :-)
