Maybe I'm missing something but I don't seem to be getting any email notifications when someone replies to a comment I've made (with the @gareauk1 tag). I've verified that all of my notifications are enabled. I do however receive notifications if a comment is made on one of my photos.
@gareauk1 I have noticed at times I am getting comments yet no notification so I find a notification on an older photo only after the rare occasions I am reviewing my 365...seems intermittent
You don't get replies to comments in the email. Only comments on your pics and notifications of new followers. For anything else you need to check your 365 notification tag
Thanks for this post - I don't get e-mails when people reply to my comments either, and I thought it was just me. I didn't even know that there was a notification tag until I read this!!
When I started I didn't know the little message icon at the top right (next to the search box) turns different color when you have new notifications! I read it in a thread like this one ;)
@gareauk1 Yes, when I started here it took me ages to notice the 'notification' tag, and I still haven't noticed the colour change thing that @tamsg4 mentioned. There were also lots of questions floating around at the time asking how things worked (it was the beginning of the new year with lots of newbies). I did think it would have been very helpful to have a sticky thread or something somewhere with Tips for Newbies. Would save us having to bravely ask! (and the experienced ones having to endure!) @Scrivna is this something that people have asked for before?
