This video has been circulating widely and I know there is another thread about it on here BUT I think we, as the great and wonderful 365 community must do something.
On April 20th 2012 people in support of this movement will be blanketing cities with images of Joseph Kony to make him famous - not to celebrate him but to make him known to the world for his crimes against humanity.
Here's what you can do.
On April 20th 2012 we can blanket 365. Post a photo relating to this movement and make Joseph Kony famous.
Our community is powerful and covers most of the world.
Imagine what we can do.

I'm not saying I'm a fan of Joseph's, I'm just saying I don't know anything about it so I'm not going to get involved and act as if I'm being a hero by spamming a video round Facebook.
@jakewalton4 I couldn't agree more. Plus as soon as the guy said 27 more minutes of my monotone voice, I turned it off. I was already like get to the point and thought I'd been directed to the wrong video.
@grecican Haha! I'm not trying to influence anyone's decisions/views, I'm just saying don't let that one video influence them either, and don't just support this thing cos everyone else is
I have taken the pledge on this one and will do something on the day - albeit my heart/loyalty lies with the UK Troops and HELP FOR HEROES being an army wife. Don't get me wrong I do feel for these children and will do something but I think more should be done in our own country as a lot of nasty things happen to our children in this country but it never gets spoken about!
@shadesofgrey@grecican we were in a meeting last 4/20 and my friend had to give a presentation and I dared him to work the term 4-20 into his presentation. I already had a street named Shamokin and pronounced it like SHA-Mokin so I had to let him have some fun too.
@brumbe schedule a meeting and work in all the references you can, then after the big wigs catch on (if they ever do) claim it's a late april fools joke and high five everyone
@5unflow3r These articles have been spreading almost as much as the video from IC and whilst I think they make some valid points, people could realise that there is a lot they could do to help the children who are falling victim to Kony, in Uganda or anywhere else in ways that don't profit the organisation. The blanketing is one of those means. You don't have to use anything related to the IC and I posted the link purely more to explain the motives of the movement than to promote it. Blanketing can be done in our own way. We are a community of photographers who can see something happening in the world and represent it in a single image. If we did this on 365 on April 20 (regardless of this cannabis culture thing which frankly nobody I've spoken to in the UK understands or has ever heard of) we would be doing our bit in our way.
Refute the finances and morals of the IC movement if you wish but I think people should pause to see through both the original video and these opposing articles to the facts.
Children are being abducted and forced to do horrific things at the hands of one man.
We have the power to make that man's face and crimes known (whether we do it through the IC or not) and hopefully help bring him to justice.
Im not asking you to send money to the IC, just to see that we as a community may be able to do something small to help stop this man.
