I was possibly planning on spending my summer in New Orleans next year and I started to look into everything about it and I am fascinated by its colors and attitude! I would love to be able to follow some people from New Orleans so that I could take it all in!
I just recently moved from Louisiana where I was born and raised but not in New Orleans. New Orleans would provide a great photography opportunity for sure. I've visited a few times. It is a city with great history, culture, people, food, nightlife and folklore but it is HOT, dirty and smelly...especially in the summer. Crime in some areas is pretty bad and I definitely would not be out alone at night in certain parts. Not trying to scare you just prepare you :) You would definitely have fun and see some beautiful sights and taste some delish food if you decide to go.
