I know how to take one pic and addi it to another but they are always square shaped. Is there a way to cut out an object and paste it into another without it being square in shape (or rectangle). I have used the layering basket in Picnic.
I am especially interested in software that doesn't cost extra to use such as Picmonkey, ipiccy, or Picnic.
I wish I had an answer for you... I could do it with relative ease with Microsoft Picture It (which is about the only thing I use that software for these days). sorry
yes there is a way... are you saying for instance you want to put you from one photo into a different photo all together???
I did this just last night ...
I use photofiltre a free edit program and I use the transparency tool. cut around the object you want to put into new photo use the transparency tool then cut and paste into new photo.. you may have to re size the image ... Im sure there is an easier way,, but this is the way I learned and so the way I do..
@5unflow3r@nikkers Yes, When I go to basket on Picnic I can layer photo's but only the whole photo - if I crop a photo it is always square shaped I can't just cut around an object or clone a single object (person etc.) to another pic it must be the who pic.
i am going to try GIMP and see how that works.
Thank you
beautiful picture here, that looks like what I want to do. For example for a WWYD challenge I may want to copy an animal or something from one picture and put it in the original photo.
@grammyn Hi Katy.
on the top bar of the program there is file edit image selection etc..
you have to cut round the object first for the transparency tool to appear.
click on image and down the very bottom you will see tran color , auto trans and trans mask.
I most of the time use the auto trans... when you click on it , it should give you the option of inside or outside the image.. I mostly do outside, click on the one you want and the rest of the image should disapear, keep doing this till you have only what you want to move to new photo... copy and paste and and resize . let me know if you neeed me to add more info... I learned this from an online tut so will try and find it for you..
