We've done this a few times but once again I'd love to see two shots of yours of the same or a similar subject with a considerable time span in between to see your improvements. I'll start with these two:
Had to delete my first post since I read now that it's a similar subject then and now - doh! So here's my post from March of last year - a night shot (I tinted it green for St Paddy's:)
And my night shot from today:)
The top one is utterly hideous - I shot it on AUTO, for crissakes. So much happier with all of the learning and skills that went into the second shot. :)
December 2001
And after
(Not posted here on 365, though.)
And my night shot from today:)
not the most recent sunset, but one from a similar place, taken on 12 January
I have a sunset from last week, but these two were both taken out in the fields, the other is in the town.

and then todays, better lighting and composition.
Now...
Now...
I didn't take the old photographs obviously.
And now March of this year:
The same plant months later

Key West, Florida sunset over the ocean 22 February 2012
February 24,2012
8 March 2012
And one year later...
The top one is utterly hideous - I shot it on AUTO, for crissakes. So much happier with all of the learning and skills that went into the second shot. :)
