Lens Pens?

July 16th, 2010
Can anyone give me some advice on what I should use to clean my lens?
I have looked on Ebay and there are a lot of lens pens but I am not sure if I should get one or buy the fluid and a cloth? I am so confused, please help!

lens pens are great for in your pocket... on the fly... when you don't want to pull out the liquids as you smug your prime for the fifth time as you switch between your 50 and 35 time and again... gee if only someone had invented lens that zoom!!!

ok well that got off topic...

I use a pen... change it often as needed as it can get dirty... NEVER use it on your sensor and it is great for cleaning your eye glasses too!!!

i love my lens pen , works well on finger prints and light dust . but for sea spray i use glasses cleaner from an optometrist and micro fibre cloth , works a treat . I clean my lenses at least 4 times during a shoot near the water .

I generally use a microfiber cloth for fingerprints and dust. I use like Brenda an optometrist's glass cleaner. I got mine from LensCrafters here in the states.

I also use LensCrafters lens cleaner and a soft clean microfiber cloth. I keep them with me all the time but I don't always remember to use them. =\
