Several years ago we lost our No.1 Rotty male, Edgar V Bose Vom Haus Kanetto. He had a full and wonderful life, gave us wonderful puppies and cemented the love for the breed in our hearts forever. To memorialize Eddie, I grabbed my brushes and attempted to put acrylics to canvas in my belief of what Rainbow Bridge looks like. Then I painted Eddie in the clouds over the bridge.
Since then I have developed away to put any pic in clouds. I also overlay the story of Rainbow Bridge on the left of the print. I have noticed that others here have expressed the hurt involved in losing a valued "member of the family". I make this offer. Anyone who reads this, I have to say this is a truly beautiful painting. Eddie would hide his head under a cushion at the thought that he inspired such a thing (he was not an arrogant pup at all, not like his son Spencer!), but it really is gorgeous. And one day, when I have the heart to have a dog again, I fully intend to see that Rev. has taken good care of himself so that he will be around to do one for me. :)
Rev Joel was so kind (as I now consider and respect him as a spiritual advisor) to do this for my Gabriel who passed in May of this year. He shipped me the print, and I cherish it deeply.
