Dates

The dates here on 365 are different than the 'real' date I just discovered.. Pretty confusing. Is anyone else having this problem or am I being stupid?

The site's based in the UK so it's probably a timezone issue. If you're American we're currently 7-9 hours ahead :)

My experience has been that the date for the 365 defaults to the date from the exif data of the photo. So if you upload a picture taken on another day the site might try to put it on that day. Not sure if that's what you're asking, ha... but hope that helps.

you can go to settings and adjust the time. and just set it to the area that you live in

As The Steve said, the site is in the UK, so the "Browse >> By Day" will work off of UK time. Here in PDT US time, about 4PM gets the next day going.

When assigning dates to your uploads, I have found that you can date about three days in advance. Being that I usually do some cropping and resizing, I don't post straight out of the camera, so I don't think that I have had the site use the exif date for my photos. Hope that helps.

Oh thanks! This is really helpful because my pictures were never set on the right day.. I'm going to try changing the settings now ;-)
