I've posted this one to a similar thread and it's still one of my very favorite photos. I knew I loved it as soon as it showed up on the LCD screen. I've taken a few others that I really loved instantly but I'll stick to just one for this thread.

This has become a favorite of mine for a lot of reason. I love the sparks flying and the lighting and I love the fact that those hands belong to some of my closest friends. :]

Karen and Alyssa- those are both fantastic pictures, thanks for sharing them! So I guess I should play along too. Here is my most recent, but it is also my favorite for many reasons.

Mine would probably be a toss up between these two :).

I use two different cameras consistently throughout this project so I will post one from both sources:

This was taken with my iPhone using the Hipstamatic app:

This was taken with my Nikon P90 and is SOOC. I took this shot as part of the weekly theme and knew that the picture was good as soon as I took it but was floored when I saw the bee’s shadow inside too. This is definitely one of my best shots:

You 365ers never cease to amaze me- Fabulous photos all around!!

This is my favourite I think - there's something so appealing about a dog shaking the water off his fur!
July 21st, 2010

Okay I have trouble picking only one picture when it comes down to it...but this is my most RECENT favorite :)
July 21st, 2010

this one!
July 21st, 2010
I took this photo today

And as soon as I looked at it on my camera I was like WOAH I LOVE THIS!
July 21st, 2010
I liked this shot instantly. It just happened to be the right time of day (evening at sunset) and he was on a railing which meant I could get close and try a few angles. Also, I don't often see these. I believe he is a soon-to-be Imperial Moth.

July 21st, 2010
Wow Carol-Ann that is a fantastic shot! I haven't been fortunate enough to get close enough to a catapiller to attempt a shot like this.
July 22nd, 2010
I'm going to have to pick two.... I'm sorry.

AND

July 22nd, 2010
The first picture I thought of was from Friday, July 16th, but I have plenty of others that have been my favs.
July 22nd, 2010
I think this is one of my most recent favs.
July 22nd, 2010
one of my latest ones .. i love this site it has helped me grow better and better !!!
July 22nd, 2010
Probably :

I have a lot more that I really don't like, but it makes me happy that I am finding that I do like most of my photos these days. I reckon that means I'm improving.
July 22nd, 2010
This isn't one of my "best" or most popular, but certainly my favorite from this project!

July 22nd, 2010
This is my favourite, its very difficult to get a good shot of the two of them because they are always moving, this one turned out exactly how i imangined it which doesnt happen very often

July 22nd, 2010
It's really rare that I "love" a shot immediately, but this one hit me hard on Veteran's Day. I didn't look at until I got home as the scene was already permanently emblazoned in my memory, but this is the only shot in my project to date that I really "loved" immediately.
July 22nd, 2010
I think I'd choose this one, partially just because it was neat to watch

July 22nd, 2010
July 22nd, 2010
@Matt, there are probably thousands of pictures the National Cemetary- they are ALL touching yours included. Thanks for sharing.
July 22nd, 2010
Good heavens! These are ALL incredible...!!

I shan't be able to match anything else in this thread - nor even get close! - but here's one my own favourites, from my project... (It's pretty old now - it's from February, I think!)

July 22nd, 2010
I have a few that I knew when I took them that they would be my shot for the day. I would have to say this was one is near tops of that list:

July 22nd, 2010
I have two from recently.

July 23rd, 2010
Wow! These are amazing! :)

It's really hard to choose, but I think I'll have to go with this one because it was a lot of hard work getting this shot and I think it paid off. :)

July 23rd, 2010
My photos are not in the same league as the above, but one of my favorites is

July 23rd, 2010

What fabulous photos above!! When I got this shot, with the lighting in the background and the angles of the fallen leaves, I just knew I was done shooting for the day.
July 23rd, 2010
I may post a couple here... in different ways, they have all been the "ah! finally, THERE is the shot I was looking for!" moment...

July 23rd, 2010
Amaizng photos, everyone!! It's hard to pick, but I think I'll go with this one, because I've never seen a sky like this before...

July 23rd, 2010
awww Slava- this is simply perfection! Since you posted this I have been waiting for this sky where I live LOL, but I'm still waiting for it!
July 24th, 2010
Of all my shots, I would have to go with this one! Granted, I don't think mine can compare with all of the incredible talent that's on this page!

July 24th, 2010

July 24th, 2010

These are my favorites so far...I love the butterfly one because of the wing movement....I love the storm rolling in picture because it's a little eerie....I love the 12 o'clock shadow picture because the shadow looks like a giant ant or spider and I love B & W....I love the bubble picture because it was so much fun to take and i was proud of the reflection I caught of my apartment complex.
July 24th, 2010

This is my favourite right now. I know it is nothing special, there is just something I love about it, it's simplicity maybe.

Love this because its my first real shoot
July 25th, 2010
@Weng your vintage style woman is FANTASTIC!!
July 25th, 2010
aww thanks Rebbecca :)
July 25th, 2010
This was my first pic of my oldest after I got my DLSR. When I processed it into black and white it just seemed to convey her natural intensity and competitive drive.

July 26th, 2010

Sure, but not really with the project.

I took this early last year and it's more because of the kitty than the photo itself, haha
