Night Shots

I tried to get the moon last night and it was very grainy. What is the best way to do this? I have a Sony DSC-HX1 point and shoot. Thanks!

You need to put your camera on a tripod and use the 2 sec self timer,(I think your camera doesn't support a remote), Set camera to manual mode and use low iso, and try many exposures

also try to use the bracketing, it can be useful.

No camera I've ever used has had the brawn to pull it off :(
