Problem posting a link in a description

I just tried to post a link to one of my previous photos in the description box of a current photo. However, when you try the link, it appears to be broken. I've tried simply copying the link from the "share" box in my previous photo (Mar 27) and pasting it in the description box of my current photo (Mar 12), but that doesn't seem to work. The same thing happened the last time I tried to post a link (Feb 29). Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I have a feeling that I'm going to feel really silly when someone gives me the solution.

Don't use the share link, go to the picture and copy the url from the address bar. It has always worked for me.

I agree with D.Marie her way works. remember you have to post your comment first and click on the link to see if it shows up. don't click on it while your're still in the comment box.
