Cheap P&S reccomendations

hi guys, i want to keep a really cheap P&S in my handbag for out and about becuase the camera on my phone is shocking, any suggestions? it has to be really cheap as money is tight at the moment :-(

the fujifilm finepix range are brilliant - I have the j37 and dont part with it - in fact my Mum keeps offering to buy it off me - brilliant camera (12.2MP) and for £79.99 not hugely expensive!

Have a look at Harvey Norman, they have a whole range of cheap point and shoots at the moment. When I was in there on the weekend, there were some for as low as 78 bucks. They might not be the best quality, but surely they would be better than camera phones?

also try kmart and target, i bought one for my step son for $80. think it was a sony. it was pretty basic but like zeph said better than camera phones

From personal experience Canon make pretty decent PoS cameras.

I have a Canon IXUS, it takes great photos, not the best resolution, but it did the trick before I bought my DSLR.
