It might help to give a indication of your budget? Whether SLR, Rangefinder or P&S etc.

@38mm thanks, looking at the moment at under £100.

I have two Panasonic Lumix because of their great range, color, lens and capabilities - as my snap and shoots. And a Canon D60 for a DSLR which I love. But am already looking to move up to a full frame DSLR.

If you give a price range and what you want in a camera, I'm sure this group will have lots of good suggestions!

@twiglets They are a really good line. My friend had a little P&S and loves it. My whole project is either Lumix or IPhone.

@twiglets I don't really do digital, but I do have a Samsung WB690 point and shoot which you can get on Amazon for around £100 now.

This was taken with it

I bought a Panasonic Lumix FS35 for my wife just recently and it seems an excellent little camera at the price provided you can do without a manual mode. You could add a good sized memory card and still stay within the budget. My experience (with a Lumix TZ10) is that a spare battery is a sensible investment, but that can come later.
