Anyone have some star shots?

July 10th, 2012
Having camped at Bryce Canyon National Park recently, I can attest to the clear skies there. I was able to get some great star shots there.

Here's one I posted for today.

Anyone else have some interesting star shots?

My first attempt at star trails. I've been wanting to try this again with some foreground interest but we haven't had clear skies since this shot. Full exposure details on the page, so click on image if you're interested.

Not on my 365 but I managed accidentally to capture two meteors at the tail end of Geminids back last November ~ my first night time 30s exposures ... I have not ventured into bulb setting yet, but it is on my list of things to do

Amazing shot you guys!!! What kind of lens do y'all have? Whenever I take pictures of the moon it looks like it's farther away, I think I need a better lens for it.. mine is only a 15mm... so I didn't even try stars thinking they definitely wouldn't work lol
