@gabrielklee thanks i have but it doesn't seem to work tho, it is softer when i deactivate the viewfinder (when the live view is active) but otherwise there is still the crunch. thanks for your help.
@sjodell thanks, i do like how it sounds too, but sometimes i want it silenced so that it's easier for street photography :)

Nikons do too. Sadly my 600D hasn't.
From what i researched, your camera has this.
Search for silent mode on your camera manual.
