Visually Pleasing Music Videos

There are tons of really cool looking music videos out there. I'm not talking about good songs, cause face it sometimes the best songs have some pretty terrible videos, but sometimes they turn out pretty awesome.
I watch a lot of videos and I love looking at the visuals and the cinematography and I wonder why the director choose that angle or the framing he went with.
