Help me pick!

August 8th, 2010
Hello, everyone! The library in my little town is hosting an amateur juried photography show where we can submit up to 3 photos. I can't decide which photos to submit...can you help me pick? Which one(s) are your favorites? Thanks for all your help!

*Edit*
The only rules for the contest are it has to be at least 8x10 and no more than 11x14. Photos must be framed & ready to hang. Designate either black & white or colored. And (most importantly) the original work of the artist! :)

My top pics of yours would be your grandfather (Jan2), May Flowers (May22), Sunset (June21), Island Park (May19), and Sunset Swim (June9). I know that's more than 3, but it's really hard to narrow it down! Good luck!

Hey there Angie- I love the sweetness in all of your photos, but a few stick out to me (probably because they are like a picture I would take). I say in order: Bridge, Harvest, Daylily. These three are clear and bright, with great composition, and the "bridge" photo really shows some great editing. Not that I know anything, I'm just tellin' ya what I like! You are awesome, good luck in the contest and let us know how you did!!!!

Are there any rules? Do you need to submit 8x10, etc... I like the sleeping princess for a portrait... the cookies one is good, but I don't think it will scale up, unless you have a better quality version of it... the corn one is cute as all heck too...

Harvest, Forest Mum and Tulips would be my picks. Although I like "Be Kind" as an editorial photo. I'm guessing everyone will have different ideas as to what resonates for them. Go with your gut instinct.

No wonder you're having a hard time choosing! Great pics! So I had to pick 6. =) Sunset Swim (6/9), Cooling Off (7/31), Butterflies (5/3), Springtime (4/2), Orange (3/8), and After the Rain (7/13). Have fun and good luck in the contest!

I ordered six 8x10's to see how they scale up and will let you all know which ones I decide on. I'm certainly looking forward to getting those in the mail!
