Pickmonkey issues anyone?

August 4th, 2012
I have never had any problems with picmonkey, until this morning. I edited a picture with no problem and then tried to edit another and a message box popped up and siad it is a system requirment that i have adobe flash player. I have never had to have it in the past. Is anyone else experiencing this? Picmonkey will no longer alow me to edit.

I always have had adobe flash player...so no issues here.

Try updating your Flash. We had to do that for another program this week, so I know that Flash has probably been changed lately.

Ok, so here is my problem. I tried to upload it and it says I have it, I searched to see if it is on my puter and nope! And if I had it then why would picmoney be telling me I don't have it? So, I am stumped.. it is not on my puter and when I tried to download it says i already have. Any suggestions?

Did anyone get the message that they had to turn on a feature that was free "for now"? I did and was surprised! Are they going to start charging to use PicMonkey?

@lynnb What version do you have and have you been able to edit on picmonkey today?

@shirljess

Pickmonkey has been horrible today. I too had to upload adobe again, but I had to do it twice! Once in the morning and again in the evening. Plus it seemed sluggish while editing. THEN, after spending half and hour on one picture it wouldn't save it and I had to start all over again!

@cheri_pittman Nope, I did not get that message.

I did edit both my pics that I posted this evening (it's where I add my watermark). I had no issues. Not sure what version I have, I use a Mac.

@cheri_pittman Yes Cheri I got that message this morning when I was trying to clone something. I guess they're going to make us pay for some features.

@cheri_pittman
As with Picnik, they are going to roll out some "premium" effects, which will cost the user. I've been using Picmonkey since Ross linked it with 365 and have always gotten that message, so that's not anything new to today.

@shirljess
I was on about an hour ago and had no problems. Maybe either re-fresh your internet or shut down and then go back? Might just be a temporary glitch.

@cromwell I just found a statement that Adobe has been having issues crashing and they hae a download to fix the issue, but they say it is not on their main website, they but this up as an emergency fix posted just yesterday. I just tried downloading and not sure if that fixd the issue or not.

I went on Picmonkey yesterday and one thing that I've never had before was a big monkey face on some of the features, I'm making the assumption that these were probably premium and will shortly have to be paid for. Then before I could actually do any editing the whole thing crashed and I got up a message to say it was something to do with flash player. Shirley @shirljess I'm always a bit wary of downloading anything on to my computer for fear of viruses. This was ok I'm assuming and nothing desperately bad has since happened to your computer :o)

Been on Picmonkey for last 2 days and am now getting a warning to "downsize/resize" after doing about 3 "original size" photos. Then is froze and a winking monkey appeared. I couldn't get rid of it. Went back later, down sized and it worked fine. Guess I haven't seen the "Premium MOnkey Face" I don't use it through 365.
