I have been invited to participate in my first road trip with World Bird Sanctuary. We will be at Parkville Days http://www.parkvillemo.org/parkvilledays.html with a Wings over Water program. If you are in the Parkville, MO or Kansas City area, come on out and see us tomorrow or Sunday (8/18-8/19). We'll be flying a couple of the birds and have several others on display.
This also means I will be away from my computer possibly until Monday. Stick with me cuz I'm hoping to have some great shots to share when I get back.

@rockinrobyn Did you make it to Parkville Days? I was hoping you might approach at the end of a show to have your picture taken with Patriot. We had a great time while there.
We did, and I was sorry we didn't see you. I'm guessing we didn't wander far enough into the park itself to see you? I was there with my parents and four little boys ages seven and under. We made it as far back as the pony ride, but then the rain came and we headed home (we were there Saturday late afternoon) . Sorry to have missed you and Patriot!!
@rockinrobyn we were past the carnival area behind the craft/vendor booths. On sat we did shows at 1 and 4. I remember where thr ponies were, you were almost there. Ah well. We were a big hit with the crowds so i expect we will be back again next year.
