tiny pictures on the iphone

August 17th, 2010
alright yall
so i don't know a lot of technical stuff about cameras... or about anything really
but i just started using the camera on the iphone for my 365...
i understand that it's not the best... i get it
but it's convenience can't be beat and i love it

the only problem i've had is that when i crop photos (which i do in an app on the phone)... they become smaller and smaller... my picture today for example... it's small

my picture yesterday, however wasn't cropped and is of okay size (not AS big as i'd like... but manageable)

does anyone know how to make the photos bigger?
i don't know if i'm talking about pixels or what... but.. bigger would be nice
help me please!
thank you!

hi Ivey,
The pictures on the site get resized to 550px wide so they can be displayed.

I think because the photo you have first has such a wide aspect ratio it gets cropped rather small.

Upgrading to Ace membership gives you access to a large and original version of your files so you can get to them if you like.

There are so many reasons to upgrade to Ace, I don't know why everyone doesn't do it. As David Strathaim says to his team in The Bourne Ultimatum, "Come on people!"

I got the Ace membership not long after I joined and LOVE it! Having the extra albums has been so helpful when it is impossible to pick just one photo to post for the day and I also discovered Picnik because of it. I don't edit my photos on a regular basis but I love to open my photos in Picnik and then save them to my computer before uploading them on 365 because it quickly resizes the photos. Most of my photos are over 5MB and get reduced down to less than 2MB quickly. Handy!
