Geminids Meteor Shower 2012

makes me want to charge the battery, drive into the pine barrens with a tripod and a snapshots flask and set up camp. Did I mention the pine barrens, that sounds like an excellent idea for a single lady at night.

@hjbenson are you going out? I have a busy evening on thursday but am off on Friday and might consider coming out if it is less than a 45 minute drive from the Ben Franklin.

@hjbenson Think i might finally try star trails, but i am a bit confused is it thurs night the13th or Friday the 14th?

@sunshinephoto5 The height of the shower activity is supposed to be 8:00pm EST Thursday 13 Dec 2012. The Geminids is a very large and you can see some activity 2 days on either side. During the peak there should be around 100 meteors/hour
