Canon T2i Problem

December 19th, 2012
I purchased a used Canon T2i just a few weeks ago, and have been extremely happy with it until earlier tonight. I went to turn it on to take some photos, and the LCD was completely blank. It would focus while in AF mode, but wont take any pictures. I have fully charged the battery, and tried with different SD cards, but nothing. I am currently letting it sit with the battery and SD card out. I don't know what else to try. Am I missing something? Any tips help.

Thanks

Did you try taking the lens off and putting it back on? Maybe its not fully "connected". Just a thought.....

I have a t3i and I have had the same trouble when I have rushed to change lenses. Rotate it clockwise to make sure it locks in. A little panic set in, but found it was operator error, lol. @neondino

Thanks, I tried that and nothing changed. But I did try a different SD card and it has been working normally for a few hours. I would like to know what prompted this issue, it was very strange. I have used the same SD card for weeks without a snag. Anyways, I hope that fixed it.

Thanks for the tips!

Arrg, I hate when things like that happen, I'm like "what did I do wrong?!" Also if you have any more problems post a comment on Chase's account, he owns a T2i also i believe. =)

Had a similar issue with a bad SD card on my 60D. I thought my camera had glitched but changed card and everything is fine. Returned my card for a replacement as well.
