Order of pictures

Hi, I am new in here and I have encountered a minor problem which is probably an easy fix - My January 5 & 6th photos have ended up showing as my first two pictures. I have marked them by their correct dates. I do not have my dates set up on my cameras - is this the reason? It seems to have happened only while using one particular camera though. Is there a way to get them moved to the right position? Thanks in advance for any help.

hey linda, your 5th and 6th photos are set on january 2007...which is why they are before your 2013! easy fix, just go to each one, choose edit, and change the year.

@linah The uploads are done by the date in the exif data. You can select the date you want it to show up on by clicking "edit" for the ones you already uploaded and when you upload for new ones it is a choice.

Would also be a good idea to set an accurate date and time on your camera to make it easier next time :-)

Thanks everyone, That was a quick fix - I never even noticed the year there. I will set an accurate date and time on my cameras too :)

One of my cameras was "latte'd" recently but survived except I have to reset the date every time I turn it on otherwise it uploads as either 1979 or 1980. Kind of hard to get those quick shots when you have to stop and reset date.

haha Julie, I wondered what you meant when you said "latte'd," didn't know if it was a photographer expression or what! I'm glad you clarified that :)
