...because I have loads of work to do and all I find myself wanting to do is look through all these amazing photos!! I have been reading through lots of old posts and am so inspired; not just to do different things with my camera but in my other world where I am a professional Face & Body Artist. The colours and compositions of so many shots are making my head dance with ideas and I would just like to take a moment to say thank you...thank you to everyone for sharing - not just your pictures, but your time, your knowledge and your expertise...it really is appreciated.
Me too :)
First thing in the morning, throughout the day on ky phone, and last thing at night - I am grateful though that it has taken over from ky obsession with fb - I learnt not a lot there ... Here I am learning all the time
LOL Even with my daughter not being able to play as normal we find things to photograph together at th moment...my pic of today is because she wanted a picture of Carrot. :-)
Haha you're absolutely right. The way I reconcile it is .. there are worse things to be addicted to. The housework will wait. The kids won't starve. The cats tell me when they need feeding..... @lisjam1 Ha! I'm not the only one then.
I gave up farming (facebook Farmville) to join this community. I am learning so many new things and have fell in love with my camera instead of planting seeds... There are so many amazing people on this site. Each one has helped me learn, feel encouraged, and pushed me on.. I completed my first year and am ready to start year 2..
I was cooking some apple last night whilst uploading my photo and taking a "quick" look at discussions, other photos etc. Realised it was done when smelt something burning!!! Now need a new pan as the bottom of that one is ruined!!!! Thankfully everyone else was out so no one knows yet!!!! ;-)
@webfoot - Magnificent picture, with the story to match!
I agree the site is addictive, and in a good way. I've been under the weather a few days - away from the camera and computer (just stopping by for a few minutes today). When I have some energy back I'll have lots to catch up on. Much easier managing the uploading of pictures and commenting on a day-by-day routine.
@lisjam1 Great excuse, think I might.have to borrow that ;)
It occurred to me while I was browsing Facebook just now, its totally boring. Definitely in second place now. Plus, I can't help but be critical of dodgy profile pictures ;) haha!
Hi KJ,
