The macro lenses for m4/3 system is rather expensive and as I already have a PK adapter I thought I should look for an old all manual macro lens.
Those of you that know the camera history, are there any good macro lenses for PK? Focal length should be in the range 50-100 mm and the lens must have aperture ring.
You might try searching for a Vivitar 90mm f2.8 1:1 macro lens with K mount. It's an old manual lens made by Komine that, "back in the day", had a good reputation for sharpness...
@davidchrtrans thank you David. Found a few on eBay, none with k mount at the moment, but others ranged USD 140 to 470 depending on mount. Will keep my eyes open or by yet another adapter.
Not sure what your budget is, but I also own the Tamron 90mm (on a Nikon body) and am pleased with it overall (today's 13th January shot was taken with it as a matter of fact). It's better priced than a comparable Nikkor lens, for sure, though not as inexpensive as an older manual focus lens (assuming you can find one with the mount you need). It's available on Amazon with a Pentax mount... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tamron-AF-90mm-2-8-Di/dp/B00022330A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358096678&sr=8-1@bankmann@primitiveprobe
@bankmann thank you for your advice Bankmann, but I'm looking for something old and cheaper. I don't need AF and all the modern stuff as it's a pure mechanical adapter. When my wallet have recovered from my recent slightly unnecessary purchase of a D5100 I migh consider the Tamron for that camera. Fotovideo just had too good a price ;)
