One of the best ways to get new followers is to join in on the board and start following and commenting on other people's photos, you will soon have people following you. Welcome to 365. :D
Welcome :) This was posted by @5unflow3r last week and may help
Welcome to the 365 Project! It's a very nice place to post a photo every day, and get to know some really cool people who also love to take photos. Here you'll find many helpful people that share a great interest with you, and it's awesome to have the support of all of these creative people.
The best part of this site is the feeling of community. It takes a while to build up a following and to find people that you'll enjoy following as well. Take your time and get a feel for the place. What's the rush? They'll be here everyday, just like you. And don't feel as though you have to follow everyone back that follows you----follow people whose photos appeal to you. It's all good!
One of the best ways to become active into the 365 community is to find photos you like and comment on them. If you consistently like someone's photos than a great way to let them know is by following them. Also if you love their photo than fav it (which helps them get to the popular page). They will probably look at YOUR photos, comment on them if they like them, and fav them if they love them. The best places to look for photos to view are all under the Browse button at the top of the page. I like to look at the "Latest" option first, then the "New Faces" button. Once you have gotten yourself a few "friends" or people that you follow, then you can click on the Home button and all of the recent uploads of your friends will be there waiting for you.
@swizz Hi Samuel! Welcome to 365! I always like to know a bit about folk, so how about adding a bit of information on your profile... where you come from, what you like.. what inspired you to do this? Then get out there, follow as many people as you want and comment on their work! What goes around comes around and the more you get involved, the more fun you'll get out of all this. Enjoy!
It's too easy to just ask for followers..having people follow you and to continue viewing your pictures and sending comments takes some work. and it should all start with you by viewing a picture of a 365er and then going to their album to see if you like their work, comment on it and not just once and see if they will get interested in you and your work and follow you. at least that was how we did it 4 years ago.
good luck and welcome..after writing all this you'll most like will not get me a shot.
Hi, I'm new too and would love to find some followers (I follow back as well... Love the diversity here & aim to follow all sorts of projects!).
I've thought about posting a similar thing with some details about me and why I'm here... But it seems the seasoned members look so down on this. I have been commenting as much as possible, following others I find, and interacting on the boards. I try really hard on my photos but I think many don't give newbies a chance.
I'll follow you! And nearly anyone who follows me! Currently, I feel like I'm not good enough for those with hundreds of followers... No matter how much I attempt to engage. So where's the balance of being such an open community but then commenting on posts like these and telling people another way to find engaged people? Just a thought.
