Heritage open days 2010 for England is this weekend. Here is the directory webaddress so you can check out interesting places to visit in your area for free. i like free ;)
You'll be surprised what places of beauty and interest there are right in front of your nose ha! I was until I started looking at heritage sights and started geocaching.

There are some excellant photo opportunities here if you need some inspiration or just something different to photograph. And some Heritage places put on special events or days for people like us. For example Luton Hoo is putting on a dedicated day for photographers and artists.
I need to balance up wanting to go to that with pleasing my daughter who would like to go the GirlGuide Heritage event also in Luton. Whether I go to 1 or the other (or both) they will offer great photo opportunities :)
