I just wanted to thank everyone for their comments on my Self Portrait Photo. A lot of you have said how brave I am to do this, but I think the people who have lost their lives, those who are still fighting , or you who have beat the beast of cancer are the brave ones.. Some of you have even thanked me for doing this. I in turn thank you for being alive and standing tall and reminding me that I have a life that if I don't take care of, will leave my 5 year old son without a mother and my wonderful husband without a wife..
So a tip of the bra to all that still face this horrible disease, and my deepest respect to the doctors and nurses that help you and the families that do not cry in front of you ..
This is one disease that needs to be beat, and with those who have successfully beat the odds, the hope for a cure continues, as well as the motivation to keep fighting. Once hope dies, so will the fight. Thank you Nikki for keeping the drive alive.
