Obviously, this site asks you to take one photo each day - so really there is no need to have a box next to the dashboard saying "You have 3 new Comments" or etc, because you come to this site every day and theres not much chance to miss much!
But, sometimes people look through your calendar and might comment on a photo from Day 2 or favourite a photo from months ago......I just think it might be easier to have a box to get me to peoples constructive critisism quickly!
I get notification emails for each comment on one of my photos. And you can set up your personal email to come through Apple Mail on your new mac book - instant notifications :)
I agree with Lisa, but also would like to see some way to be notified if there is an added reply comment to a photo I have commented on. And even better if there was a way to make a general comment on someone's homepage, and not on their individual photos.
