I liked the post to guess the blur theme. I want to highlight three super great spooky theme photos I've seen. I am sure that I have liked more and wished people well on them. These three continue to stand out. Feel free to lobby for your winners, too. :)
Lina Querry ladies and gentlemen! This is her first attempt with photoshop. Halloween is her favorite holiday AND this is really just great photography don't you think. Clearly a winner in my book.
Also there is...
Now I don't know Christine well...but well you see why I like this photo for spooky. Amazing! yes.
Then there a 365 sweetheart that many of you know, Slava
Gave us the ugly side of fairytales, beautifully!
There are more that I like a lot but I keep coming back to these. Happy Halloween everybody (even though it is my least favorite holiday:))! I can't wait for Thanksgiving. :):):)
I liked that "guess the winners" thread too and it's a nice way for folks to highlights photographs that might otherwise get lost in the shuffle since there are so many entries for each theme. Thanks for including my silly little pic! And thanks for introducing me to two new wonderful photographers I'm now following. The spookiness here is overwhelming me!
Well, I'm good with most spooky things, not much scares me "for real." But once you start messing with the eyes--all bets are off. I'm throwing you to the wolves and I'm running--haha.
I thought these were pretty creepy:
This one took me by surprise this morning because I wasn't quite awake yet!
And this one I find unsettling--under the bed and all! But again with the eyes...
Yeah, those are totally messed up - probably the reason I haven't seen them yet is that I look away from such things. ;) Thanks for contributing to the wicked shots. :)
These are all so great! Keep 'em coming, everyone! Um, the one with the person under the bed is especially freaky. Even I'm a little creeped out by that one.
Just saw this one from John who usually post beautiful flowers. lol! It is great, honestly!
This is a fantastic long exposure shot by Heather Craig whose work I had not seen before this shot, but this shot is fantastic!
And this shot by Michelle Joy- who in my opinion has done a wonderful job with this spooky theme and halloween inspired shots in general.
One more I remember! Emptiness is spooky to me, too.
